Zoo Fun with Friends

A few weeks ago we spent the day with three of my friends from college and their kiddos at the Fort Worth Zoo!  We always have so much fun catching up and talking all day long!  We looked at the animals, at lunch, and then took advantage of the waterpark at the zoo now!  So much fun!  Love you girls!

Baby Dylan's Shower

My cousin Doug and his wife Liliana are expecting their first baby, a little boy, and we are all so excited!  She is due next month and we can not wait!  I had so much fun hosting with my mom and Liliana's friend Alyssa!  The shower was perfect and she got so many goodies!

Happy July 4th

July 4th was spent with family!  We started our day off with meeting Jason's family at his grandfathers house, eating lunch, and swimming.  We have had this tradition every year!  Then we stopped to visit at his Mom's house, and our final destination was my parent's house in Sherman! We cooked out, went swimming (Thank you Mr. Joey), and watched the fireworks in Denison!  Thankful for my country and our freedom!
My sweet girls!

Sparklers....the girls did not want to touch them!

Beau....he got out a few days prior to this picture and believe it or not was hit by a car.  Thank goodness he only had injuries to his two front pads.  Sweet boy!

Super cool pic I took of a dragonfly.  It let me get so close.....I was in the pool with my camera.  Risky business.

First time to ride by herself!

Burrus Family Reunion

My grandfather is from Arkansas and I drove him, my grandmother, my parents, and me and the girls to his family reunion.  It was a quick trip but I needed to go up there so very bad.  After the reunion in Hope, we drove to Magnolia to see his college campus, the plot where he grew up, and the graveside where both my great-grandparents are laid to rest.  I was very close to them so I was pretty overtaken with emotions.  I told the girls about how special they were to me and how they watch over them everyday.  Avery told me, "it's ok momma, Jesus has their hearts".

Fishy Fishy

Sherman Country Club held a fishing tournament, which my mom took home several recoginitions, so we drove up to let the girls fish.  Ansley caught her first fish, Avery caught several perch, and we drove around looking at cows to entertain Ansley the rest of the time!  The girls love fishing and being out in the country!

Summer Lovin'

Painting burlap canvases to hang in the playroom.  Ansley just wanted to paint the driveway!

When it rains we shall have fishy races in the street!

Super lucky to call him mine!

Porch plants are loving all the rain and humidity!
