Yes to the Dress

It was a special day!  Lindsey found her dress and got all the bridesmaids stuff picked out!  Avery was so excited to "help"!  Mom, Marti (Zach's Mom), Avery and I joined in on the fun and it was a super easy task! She is going to be so beautiful!  And I am super excited to loan my "something old" veil for her to wear on her wedding day!

Is it really 2015 already?

Well folks, by the look of things you would have thought I had given up on my blog.  Truth is.....I have had my blog on my "To Do" list for, oh, three months now.  And here we are in March and I am just getting time to catch up.  Mommyhood, being the most awesome wife ever, teaching, and running my business has pretty much kept me treading water!  Life is rich and full of events, the camera has not had a rest, and life is going full force.  To say I feel blessed is an understatement.  Life is messy, kids get sick, and to be honest I have come home most days and emerged myself in my family.  That is where I should be.  So I have stopped stressing over my blog and come to the realization that it will be updated when I have energy, can keep my eyes open, and everyone is asleep.  So it may be next Spring Break when I do this again!!!!!  Not really!

We have two beautiful girls who are growing like crazy, amaze us everyday, and bring so much joy to our lives.  With soccer games, birthdays, dance recital, and Daddy Daughter Dance dates filling my calendar I can not wrap my head around the fact that Avery will start Kindergarten next year.  Ansley will turn two in June.  And they are attached at the hip.  They have their moments of dispute, but to watch them together is my dream come true.  It is love, sweetness, and joy wrapped into two precious gifts' from God who call me "momma", "mommy", and when Ave gets sassy, "mom".  Two girls who love their Daddy.  He can do no wrong in their eyes.

Jason and I will celebrate eight years of marriage this year, 17 years together, and it feels like yesterday that we got married!  So crazy!  I love our history and the ability to just be.  I love our love if that even makes sense.  Even when I am being stubborn!!!!!!  His territory has exploded and to say he is busy does not even touch it!  I am so very proud of him and all his hard work.  He is such a Godly example of how a man should be.  I love seeing my 75 kiddos that cruise through my classroom door everyday to learn some Science and Social Studies and I was truly blessed with my awesome team of co-workers!  Going back to work was a super hard decision but it gave me a sense of self back.  I would not trade my days as a stay at home mom, and there are positive and negatives to both roles, but I needed to be back in that role.

I have a lot of posts to share.  So stay tuned!

Valentine's 2015

Valentine's festivities are always fun; Dance party and class parties!  This year the girls had parties on different days which actually made things a bit easier.  I felt like I could focus each day and not be running between the two classrooms!  I love the special gifts they make for us in class and all the excitement when they bring their Valentine's home!  Lots of fun!

Jason and I did get to go on a long date.....Movies, Nana and Papa with the girls, dinner at Capitol Grill downtown, and stayed at the Omni Downtown Fort Worth.  It was so nice and such a grown up date......I say that laughing because grown up dates are slim at this stage in our life.  No complaints and would not change a thing, but it is nice once in a while!

Thank you Nana and Papa for keeping are babies!

Avery's Day

Notice what Avery said (slightly left of middle heart on pink paper).  Yes I will brag.  At times I think we all question if we are doing this parenting thing right, and in this moment I knew Jason and I must be doing something good.  Not toys.....JESUS!  Not that the other responses are any less important.  But this is my proud parent moment!  Thank you Avery for being a true blessing!  I love you so very much!

So happy to see Mommy!

Dancing and singing!

Warm Days

It has been unusually warm the last week or so and we have taken full advantage of it!  Trips to the park, playing outside, and building forts in momma and daddy's room!  Love capturing them in their element!

Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo

In December Jason's sister and her family moved back from South Carolina!  Which means the girls' cousins are now so close to grow up with them.  Our first get together was the FWSSR!  The kids loved it and the weather was perfect!

I do not know this young man, but I couldn't help but capture this moment!  Sound asleep!

Our sweet Ave!  Who by the way wants to live on a farm.....I told her we would move in a heartbeat!

Ansley did not like all the animals running cracra in the petting zoo, so sister took care of her!

And per usual....an impromptu dance party at the Glover's!
