Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo

In December Jason's sister and her family moved back from South Carolina!  Which means the girls' cousins are now so close to grow up with them.  Our first get together was the FWSSR!  The kids loved it and the weather was perfect! 

 

I do not know this young man, but I couldn't help but capture this moment!  Sound asleep!

Ansley did not like all the animals running cracra in the petting zoo, so sister took care of her!

I'll post this in January, but on December 20th Zach asked Lindsey to marry him.  And of course she said yes!  He had asked all of us on the Disney trip and we gave our blessing....Dad, Mom, Jason, and myself.  It was really kind of him to ask the whole crew and I greatly appreciated it!  He asked me to capture the special moment and it was going to be dark so I knew I had to use flash.  No other choice.  I was super nervous about the turnout but I was so happy that I got it all and they turned out great!  If you can picture me running through a dark park in downtown Fort Worth and hiding in shrubs waiting for the group to walk through then bingo.  I was shaking with nerves and watching like a hawk for the start of the moment.  I flew out of the bushes like a credit card sells man and scared some poor guy half to death.  It was a great night!  We are so excited for the wedding in September!

The look of "Now I have to fly a Red Raider flag in my yard"!!!!!!!!!  Lindsey can't wait!
