And It's a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jason and I having been keeping a huge secret from our families. And believe me it has been one of the hardest things to do. But we wanted to do something special for them to find out the sex of our baby. The only thing that did not work out was having my dad here. He is working in Colorado and could not get away in time so I made a deal to tell him first before telling the rest of the family. It is only fair because this is his first grand baby and he is so excited. He already wants to get her a fishing pole and of course a cameo outfit. Whatever he wants to do is fine with me. So Monday night, December 21st, we had our families meet for dinner and revealed our gender cake. Everyone was so happy! And we can finally start calling her by name and saying 'she'. I will tell you this, Miss Avery is one loved little girl and has many people anxiously awaiting her arrival. And like I said before she is perfect in every way!

Mother-Daughter Luncheon

My mom, Lindsey, and I had the pleasure of attending a Christmas Party hosted by Susan Kluesner, which is a neighbor of my parents. We had a wonderful time talking with friends and Lindsey got to visit with several girls she graduated with. Thank you for the fellowship with friends at this wonderful time of year!!!!!!!

My Keys Will Not Work.........

So Jason said he got me a new car but my keys would not work!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, maybe next year. :)

Preparing for Sherman

Jason and I have officially landed in Sherman for two weeks. Normally we go snow skiing while on break, but obviously this year we are unable to go with me being pregnant. We will have plenty of time with our families. So before we left for Sherman, we went over to the Woodlands for a date night and to celebrate the clean bill of health that me and Baby G got at the doctors' office that day. The Woodlands puts up a beautiful display at Christmas with an ice skating rink, several large Christmas trees, and tons of lights. After walking around and enjoying the cool weather we headed to Laundry's Seafood to eat and then called it a night. We had to get home to pack and get ready to leave the following morning. Here are some pictures we would like to share!!!!!!!!!

Jaxson or Avery

We find out December 17th if we will be welcoming baby Jaxson or baby Avery in May 2010! We are so anxious and excited. We will then come home December 18th for a wedding and then have a dinner with our parents to reveal the gender with a gender cake that following Monday evening. It is going to be sooooooo hard to keep it a secret for that long without telling. We will post pics next weekend.

I Can't Stop....

So since my last post I have been busy. I love making the clip frames and Christmas countdowns. I have sold 9 so far and just finish my last order last night. I did not intend to sell any of them, but have been more than happy to share my craftiness (not sure if that is even a word, but we will go with it). The Christmas countdowns shown are not complete, they were still needing numbers, but the others are ready to go. Hope you enjoy!

Decoupage

So this morning Jason and I stopped by one of the elementary schools that was hosting a craft show and I saw this really cute "Days Til Christmas" Countdown. It was the cutest thing, but they wanted $30 for a block of wood with some scrapbook paper on it. Well, this led me to Hobby Lobby to try my luck at Decoupage.

I am really proud of myself after viewing my final product. Next on my list, Decoupage picture frames!!!!!!!!!! Hope you like the Glover's new Christmas countdown.

Tis' The Season

We are still the brighest house on the block!!!!!! Jas, you did such a good job on the lights like you always do. Thank you for making our house bright enough for Santa to see! :)
Also, I found this super cute Angel Snowman today while out Christmas shopping and then of course Frosty in the yard!

B-L-A-C-K FRIDAY

Call me crazy, but my mom and I were up shopping at 3am. We found some great deals and were exhausted by 12 noon. We went to Old Navy, Wal-Mart, Target, Kohl's, Baskins and Sam's. Then we met up with Jason's mom and Tom and my Aunt Lori and Dad for our annual Black Friday Breakfast. Our big purchase was our camera we have been wanting to get. With a baby on the way we must have a quality camera to capture "everything". So I wanted to share some pictures we took with it.
Jason and I spent Thanksgiving with both our families which was really special. Special in the fact that my Dad was home this year on Thanksgiving! We spent the morning in Winnsboro with Jason's family and had dinner with my family. Happy Thanksgiving!

More Baby G

******I wanted to share two things: the picture frame Jennifer sent me for my birthday all the way from South Carolina and the latest
sighting of the ever growing belly at 15 weeks.

Baby Furniture

So Jason and I made our first purchase, Baby G's furniture. We were extremely lucky on our find and would like to share some pictures. Keep in mind that once we know what we are having things will look much different as far as decor. I will post pictures in the later months. Enjoy for now.

Giving Thanks

So I have noticed that on many blogs, my friends have listed things they are thankful for and I too had all intentions of posting this before Thanksgiving. However, time seemed to slip away and it is never to late to express the the many things I am thankful for. So........

1. I am thankful for my faith and the strength that I find through that faith. Knowing that God is always by my side is an everlasting comfort.

2. I am thankful for my loving, selfless, humble, and sacrificing husband. We have been together 11 years and there is not one day that goes by that I do not wake up with a huge smile on my face because he is there next to me. He loves me for who I am and accepts my flaws with open arms. Knowing that someone loves me like that makes me want to be a better person. Still to this day when he looks at me I get butterflies. For that, God has blessed both of us for allowing us to share that kind of love for one another.

3. I am thankful for my family. They have raised me in a way that has led me to appreciate all the hard times and even more, the good times. The memories I hold from my childhood are ones that will be with me for life and I hope that I can be half the mother that my mom is. I am blessed that I can speak openly with my dad and he does not shy away from his "girls". They truly are the rock that holds our family together and their example as parents makes me proud to be their daughter. I love that within the last couple of years my sister and I have become closer. Seven years difference has been a challenge, but I would give my life for my sister. I am thankful for all three of them.

4. I am thankful for Jason's family. Since I was 14 years old they have welcomed me into their home and their hearts. I have been treated like family and that makes life easy. I am thankful for Nancy, Jason's mom, who raised him to be the man he is today; minus the horrible memory :) I am thankful that Jennifer, Jason's sister, enjoys hanging out with me and allows me to have the most precious niece and nephew anyone could ask for. I am thankful for his entire family; Nancy, Tommy, Jennifer, Tristan, the babies, Jeff, Josh, and all the extended family.

5. I am thankful for this little baby growing inside my tummy. I dream of Baby G and tear up every time I think of the first time I will get to hold him/her in my arms. Baby G is truly a miracle from God and I am so blessed to have the opportunity to it's mommy. I cannot wait! So May, please hurry. There are many people waiting to meet this little baby.

6. I am thankful for good health for myself and my family.

7. I am thankful for all my friends. I know that I could call on Jenn, Steph, and Marissa and they would be by my side in a heartbeat. Jason and I have been blessed with so many good friends that have enriched our life with memories. Thank you.

8. I am thankful for the time I get to spend with family during the holidays. I cherish every second with our families.

9. I am thankful for Maddie. She is my sweet Maltese that Jason got for me in October 2005 and she makes my heart melt every time she looks at me. She loves to snuggle and of course bark, but we are working on that in preparation for baby.

10. I am thankful for all the special kids I get the opportunity to teach each day. Even though at times I feel very tested, I always remember the big picture and what my job represents. I have an amazing job, great co-workers, and wonderful girls (cheerleaders). We have been blessed with our jobs and location.

11. I am thankful for the things I love and love to do: snow ski (reaching the top of the mountain and looking over God's country with my husband), the ability to call my family and friends everyday and have someone on the other end waiting for my phone call, being able to sing in the car and no one hear me, flavored water, candles, Tivo (however you spell it), cute shoes, TJ Maxx, football (specifically Texas Tech), cleaning and yard work (don't judge), and just about anything that comes my way; something else my parents taught me, love the life your in.

12. I am thankful for my belief that "Everything happens for a reason". For such a loaded comment, it has pulled me through many hard times.

13. I am thankful for my life all together and the people God has given me to share it with.

My Birthday Weekend

The weekend of my birthday my mom, sister, and mother-in-law drove down to help celebrate. We had a packed weekend ahead of us and we have had this weekend planned for quite some time. The Houston Ballet hosts a holiday market called "The Nutcracker Market" that welcomes over 300 vendors. We shopped all day on my birthday and then ate at Pappasita's for dinner. On Sunday we hit up the Mega Marshall's in The Woodlands and made a haul. I was so thankful for some of my family being with me on my birthday. Thank you for coming down and spending the weekend with me. I love you all.
