Happy 4 Month Birthday!

Mommy and Daddy love you so much and we are loving every minute with you. Avery is sitting up, rolling over like no tomorrow, and smiling up a storm. Tears come to my eyes every time she smiles at me. You are so sweet and loved!
Avery is getting so big. I believe she weighs 13 pounds now. She eats 6 times and at night I put cereal in her bottle. She has been sleeping through the night now for about 2 months, but on occasion she will stir because she rolls over or loses that paci! All she wants to do is sit up. She will strain to sit up and then spit up due to straining. She is still wearing her 3 month clothes and never goes out without a bow. She has brought so much joy to our life! I love the way she looks at us with such admiration. She loves her bouncer but her feet still do not touch so maybe in the next month or so. Everyone always stops and comments on how cute she is, and not being partial or anything, but I would agree. She is such a sweet baby and we love her dearly.

I am finally finding some time to catch up. We are moved in and loving our new house. Our jobs are great and the people we work with have really made us feel welcome. It feels so nice to finally OWN a home and do the things we want to do to make it feel like ours.
We have changed so many things; the living room floors, some of the appliances, the landscape in the front yard, Avery's room now looks like her room, and painted the master bedroom. We hope to have our patio complete by fall and our kitchen countertops, but it is going to be a slow process. If only I had a money tree..........then I could do everything I wanted. It will take time but it is fun doing a little here and there. I LOVE Avery's room! The stripes nearly committed my mom, sister, and I and once it was finished, it looked perfect. We tore out about 14 shrubs in the front yard and are in the process of re-landscaping. Again, a slow process. We have had the opportunity to take advantage of the pool right down the street and the commute to work is....hold on to your pants.... 7 minutes. In Houston, it was 25-30 minutes to work. We have found a wonderful in-home-daycare and Avery will start going 3 days a week September 8th. My eyes tear up every time I think about that day, but I keep telling myself that everyone has to do it. Oh how I wish I could fit her in my purse and take her with me. I will miss her sooooooooooo much, but I feel in my heart of hearts that she will be taken good care of.

Having our families around has been wonderful too. I get to see my mom all the time and my dad when he is not working. Lindsey has moved to Waco and she misses little Miss Avery bunches. I am so glad she is working and going to school and loving it! Thank you Erin!
