A Little Sneak Peek

Took my almost "4" year old out this week for a Birthday session and we had so much fun with the trains!  She took my camera and posed me and said "I want to be like you mommy!"  Greatest words you can ever hear!  Although the pics were a lot of trees and the top of my head.  She took "point and shoot" to a new level!  Love this little miss so much!

Avery's School Easter Egg Hunt 2014

Last Thursday my mom, Nana, took off to spend the day with us!  It was a total surprise to Avery!  She loved it!  I took her with us afterwards and we ate at Rainforest Cafe in Grapevine and shopped all day!  That night Avery went home with her until we came to Sherman later the next day!  Avery was in heaven!
Waiting for the "go"!

And their off!

Love all her faces!

Showing me everything she got!

Nana and her girls!

Egg Drop

The weekend before Easter Jason was on call so we had a soccer game at 9am and then one of the churches by our house had an Easter Egg hunt for the kids!  I thought why not take while we are waiting for Jas to get home!  Well, I had one running for eggs in one direction and the other one crawling for eggs in the opposite directions.  I was exhausted!  I guess because I was trying to get pictures of them both.  After the age division hunts, which were all at the same time (I recommend staggering them) we waited for the Easter Bunny to drop the eggs from the helicopter.  The wind was crazy and eggs went everywhere!
Waiting her turn!

Eyeing the eggs!

And they are off!

She didn't make it very far.  So easily distracted!

Checking out their loot!

Here comes the Easter Bunny!

And this is when the wind caught the bag and eggs dropped all over the busy road, hitting a few cars.  Parents and church workers went running to gather them all up.  I don't think that was planned.

The last drop.  He circled four times!  Tons of eggs!

I gave Avery her strategy and we were sprinting.....baby, stroller, and all!

While waiting on the Easter Bunny, Avery made a new friend.  This kid knows no stranger.  Not sure if that is a good thing.  But she always makes everyone feel welcome!

It is not a scream, but it was not a smile.  Ansley would look at the Bunny and then look at me like what are you doing?

Avery's Field Day 2014

Daddy, Ansley, and I got to go to Avery's Field Day at school and watch her do all the activities!  She loved having us there and I got lots of great pictures with her and her friends.  I love seeing her interact with other kids!

Ready to go!

Heading towards the outfit!  They had to put a shirt and shorts on, run around a cone, take it off, and run back to the line!  It was funny!

Running fast!

Sweet girl!

Waiting on popsicles!

Her and Owen!  Love this little boy!  And he is a Red Raider!

Texas Bluebonnets

Over the weekend I grabbed a few pictures of the girls in the bluebonnets.  I love the colors and how they look against a white dress!  I found the perfect location too!

Sweet face!

Her eyes kill me!  She cracks me up!

And I included this one because these are the hands when she wants to be held.  How precious is that and who couldn't pick this cutie up!?!?

Happy 10 Month Birthday

Happy 10 Month Birthday our beautiful baby!

I have put this post off because it seems like every time I go to blog your another month older.  The time is going by so fast; faster than with Avery I guess because I chase both of you this go around.  You are the sweetest baby......I just want to squeeze you all day.  Your smile with your little teeth showing, your wrinkled nose, and the way your turn your hands out when you want to be held.  You are me made over again.  I love every little thing about you!  Planning your 1st Birthday is such a bittersweet time.  You are so happy when you see a familiar face; especially me, daddy, and Ave!  You have four teeth all the way through and one more on the top breaking through.  You are taking steps, almost walking, and climbing the stairs all by yourself.  You push your baby stroller around like you are late for something and you love to play whatever your sister is playing.  Even though she is rough, she looks out for you and cares so much about you!  I love that she is a mother hen!  This post is short and straight to the facts......the fact is that it makes me sad to know you will be one in less than two months.  Rocking you tonight, tears flowed from my eyes in the awe of you being a part of our family and how much joy you have brought to us.  I thank God each and every night for blessing us with you and your sister.....two beautiful healthy girls that truly are miracles!  I love you sweet girl!

Where did April Go?

Wow!  So April is almost over, meaning Avery has a birthday coming at the end of the week, last month of school, dance recital, end of soccer season, baby dedication to plan, 1st birthday to plan, and try to book all of our fun stuff for Disney which is less than 170 days away.  No wonder I am behind on my blog.  That seems to happen a lot.

In all the crazy, I am really trying to just enjoy whatever it is we are doing.  No need to overdo, outdo, or stress about it.  So I will try to get caught up before all the excitement happens!
