Sweet Babies

Back in February we had dinner with my cousin and her husband Blake.  We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and were getting ready to go when they spilled the beans I think everyone has been waiting for.......they are having a BABY!  I am so excited!  Jennifer and I grew up together being only a year apart and now we will have babies three months apart!  Jennifer will be a wonderful mom and I am so excited for them!  I can't believe they waited till the very end of dinner to tell us......I would have been bursting at the seams!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Jason had to go back to work on Friday morning so Ave and I headed to Sherman to spend the weekend with Nana and Papa!  It was perfect because I did not feel that great and Ave loves hanging out outside with Beau, the dog, and running around!  We went and looked at the cows at Club Lake with Papa, played outside all day Friday and Saturday, and then went to the St. Patty's Day party in Downtown Sherman.  Mom and Dad cooked steaks on the grill Friday night and Saturday morning was a yummy breakfast casserole and fruit tray!  Friday night Avery ate three corn on the cobs like a true Corn husker; Papa was proud!  I could get used to that again!  Reminded me of when I was in high school.  We always had dinner together!  Avery had a great time and momma relaxed!  Wished Daddy could have been with us though.
Headed to the "party" as Ave would call it!
Before the "party" we met up with my parents Bible Study Group at City Limits and hung out that night.  They are so fun!
Avery was so tired!  After we left she was out within five minutes!
Avery's version of her Leprechaun dance!!!!!!
Avery Boothe and Avery Glover
Too cute!

Spring Break Fun

Spring Break was last week and we pretty much just hung out and took it easy!  It was enjoyable.  We really wish we could have gone to South Carolina to visit family but with Jason's job we could never plan something solid.  So we will making the trip after baby Ansley gets here!  Jason was home for most of the week which was very nice; we visited a different park, spent a day at the Dallas Arboretum, a friends birthday party, and lots of family time.  Everyone knows how I am with pictures, I take a ton, so here is our break through my photo lens!
Avery got a taste of the Wii for the first time!  She loves to be a "princess" and drive the "pink car"!  I have to say though she is a terrible driver!
 She was hamming it up!
At the park in Frisco!  We had Double Dip afterwards!  Well worth it!
Observation:  I have noticed as a preschool teacher that when you tell kids to make a funny face, they gravitate towards their mouths.......Avery did the same thing so it must be a before the age of 5 thing!
Loved the light on her face in this picture!
One of the only pictures you will see of me.....feeling large and in charge with this super low baby!
Again with the light!  Could never take too many pictures of my sweet Ave!
Daddy said, "No hands" and she did no hands!
Then he said, "No hands and close your eyes" and so she did!  Maybe I have my future roller coaster rider in the making or just a daredevil!

Burning the energy running up the hill!
Beautiful flowers!  Love the Arboretum!

Ok last shot of mommy.

Checking out the Tee pee!
Running through the beautiful grass!

Ready to go and acting like "mommy" she said.
Pure joy and love sums up this picture.
Love the colors of this picture and the precious little face!  What a great break!

Sweet Neighbors

Our sweet neighbors from Houston happened to be in town this weekend and Saturday we had them over for a quick visit.  When we first moved in they only had Adam their oldest and we had no kids.  Now there are four kids between the two of us couples!  Crazy what time does!  The kids had a blast and played their little hearts out!
Avery and Ava catching a quick drink and snack!
Sweet girl loved playing with all the "girly" stuff.  Normally it's cars and dinosaurs for her!
Of course Avery is taking after her mother and not ready for the picture.  Growing up I have always taken "awkward" pictures.  Hopefully she does not follow in the that footstep of mine!

So many A's!
Best out of six photos!

Happy Birthday Andi

 Happy 3rd Birthday Sweet Andi!

We helped celebrate Andi's birthday a little early.  She will turn 3 on March 17th but she has a new baby brother coming on March 20th!  We are so excited for the Strickland's!  They will have to let us know how it all works with two!
Avery loves birthday parties, however she is always playing by herself!  She is just one content girl who can entertain herself.  Sounds like her momma!
This is her favorite thing to play with at Andi's house!  All the times we have been there she always ends up in the play house.  That is until it starts raining!
Waiting to get her unicorn horn for "Pin the horn on the Unicorn"!  It was Pink Unicorn Party!

Andi taking the first swing at the Pinata!
Avery was not too sure about this.  I think she was confused that we let her have a bat and told her to hit something with it.  Normally she hears the opposite!
 CANDY!!!!!!
On the way over, we drilled her about who's presents were going to be there and how we share......I have to say she did awesome.  She sat back while Andi opened presents and just watched, she waited patiently for cake, and was super sweet!  Love you Ave!
