Well on April 27 we celebrated a very special two year old. We technically celebrated her birthday for a week, and we may make this a new family tradition, but Friday started the big stuff. We all got up and ready for the day and left to go eat Avery's favorite breakfast......pancakes! We went to The Original Pancake House. It was so good! Afterwards, daddy took Ave to Mrs. Holley's and mommy went to work. That evening we all met at Babe's Chicken for dinner. We included: Aunt Lulu, Nana, Papa, Mommy, Daddy, Gigi, Papaw, Aunt JenJen, Uncle Tristan, McKinley, Brennan, Emma, and of course the Birthday Girl! Big crowd! It was so much. Saturday was her Minnie party that we have talked about now for about three months!!!!!!!! She had a blast. All her little friends came along with alllllllllllllllll our family! It was busy, fun, and exhausting all at the same time. Daddy had an extra special surprise in store for Avery (and mommy too!). I had no idea daddy had Minnie come all the way from Disney World to visit. She came to wish Avery a Happy Birthday and to tell her she can't wait to see her in September! How sweet. No words for how lucky she is to have Jason as her daddy! After everyone made their way home we headed to dinner with my cousin Doug and Liliana. We had a great visit and enjoyed talking with them. That night we invited our niece McKinley to stay with us so her and Avery could jump into the night! We had the jump house till Sunday. So she spent the night, got to sleep on the couch, eat donuts Sunday morning, and go to church with us! All of which was a treat for her! We enjoyed her so much and she played great with Avery! What a weekend! We had so much fun watching Avery enjoy her party but I think next year we will be going somewhere to celebrate......gymnastics gym, Pump It Up, etc.! Momma is exhausted!

I knew it would be a great day with a sunrise like this! The entire day I reminisced about each and everything that happened two years ago. It is a treasure to be a momma and we are so lucky to have Avery! |

Yummy food! |

I have to say, Avery is terrified of Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny so when I saw her reaction to Minnie Mouse I cried. I was so excited that she was so "in awe" of her favorite character. We go to Disney World in September and this reaction just made me ten times more excited!!!! |
|
"Still can't believe Minnie Mouse is singing and dancing in my backyard!" |
|
I think the kids had a great time! |

She got so many goodies! I think we have everything Minnie Mouse made this side of the sun! Her expressions were classic and her enthusiasm was awesome! She tore through that paper like a mad woman! |

More hilarious expressions! |
