As beautifully written by Hope's mom, "A tiny, brilliant light has been extinguished on this earth. Hope fought the fight longer and stronger than any giant could ever have. In the end, the Lord decided her fighting was done and she deserved all the peace and rest she had so valiantly battled for. Words cannot express the profound sorrow that we all now feel, and these few words are insufficient to honor such a strong and beautiful soul. We love you with all our hearts, and know that you are in a better and peaceful place free of tubes, needles and pain." Hope went to be with her Heavenly Father on July 18, 2012 at 20 months old after a long fight with many complications since birth.
