So after church on Sunday we went to a great place for pictures with the Bluebonnets that Jason had found earlier in the week. Good Daddy! Avery fell asleep from church so we had to wake her up to take pictures, hence the somber look she has till the very end and then she is not happy. Sweet little baby is precious either way! Hope you enjoy. Sorry I posted so many, I just wanted to share all my favorites.

Deep in the Heart of Texas
Weekend in Pictures
This weekend was quite busy. We celebrated two birthdays; Jason's mom and my cousin. We spent Saturday and Sunday with our families and never once slowed down. We had our very first Easter Egg hunt hosted by Craig Ranch and Avery did awesome. We have been practicing with her what to do with the eggs and she was a natural! All the babies were precious picking up eggs and we really enjoyed it! We love the area we moved too. We are so tired but yet another week has approached. Avery has developed quite the personality and I find myself praying everyday for patience and the ability to be calm in ALL situations. (such as throwing herself backwards because she did not get her way) Everyone keeps telling me this is normal but I am having a hard time coping with this new found sassiness (not sure if it is a word, but I am going with it)! Have a wonderful week!
What a precious face!
Mommy and Avery had to look through all our eggs to see if we were the winners of the Easter basket. No luck, but I bet you get some goodies from the Easter Bunny at home!
Taking a rest
I got one!
All the babies look so darn cute!
So I think we finally hit the "stranger danger" stage or just the "creepy Bunny get away from me" stage. Avery was not too fond of the Easter Bunny.

Avery is obsessed
Avery loves watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. When she hears the music, particular "Hot Dog" Dance, she starts screaming and bouncing up and down. It is so cute!
Was I asleep?
So I discovered many typos today on my last post. Was I asleep when I wrote it? I find myself reading the posts over and over and over again and it sounds good to me! I guess I need to slow down when I proofread. Sorry!

Happy 11 Month Birthday
We are one month closer to the Big Birthday and your mommy and daddy cannot believe it. You have brought so much joy and light into our lives and we really do not know what we use to do before we had you. We have so much fun just staying home and running around the house playing. I look at you and your little "ways" and you bring tears to my eyes daily. Not because I am sad, but because I love you so very much. You have been a busy girl this month. Here is what you have been up to:
- You started walking and you have yet to stop.
- You went to the doctor, again, because you had the start of an ear infection.
- Eating four bottles a day with three to four jars of baby food
- You eat anything mommy and daddy are eating (Such as a whole slice of pizza at Brinlee's birthday party)
- You are wearing 9-12 month clothing
- You love to ride in the grocery cart and "whoo" anyone who walks bye. Your a real ham!
- You have learned to open Maddie's, "Your four-legged sister", crate. You think it is great, we think "great", just another thing to baby proof so you don't smash your fingers.
- You also learned to open ALL the cabinets in the house and at times empty those cabinets. So daddy has had to baby proof EVERYTHING.
- You have learned to shake your head left to right letting mommy and daddy have some fun! We ask you questions like, "Are you ever going to leave mommy and daddy?", "Do you like boys?", and "Are you ever going to get married?". Now stop judging us, we are just having fun. You promptly shake your head no and it is the cutest thing. We both know that one day God will give you a true love and we will have to tolerate the dating, but right now that is a thought I cannot think about.
We love you so much and I still cannot believe that the next one will be your birthday party pictures and your 12 month post. Where has the time gone baby girl? We recently celebrated Jason's grandfather's 80th birthday and as we were singing Happy Birthday I started crying. I think about the day I went into labor and even through to pain, all I thought was "I am about to be a mom and I will finally get to meet this little angel baby that I have waited so long for." I love you so very much and your mommy and daddy will always be right with you. Love you bunches!
Happy Birthday Brinlee!
Happy 1st Birthday Brinlee!
Avery attended her very first birthday party as a party goer! She had so much fun. It was at the Frisco Pump It Up. At first she wanted nothing to do with them, but after watching the other kids, she quickly gained interest. She walked everywhere and jumped in several bouncers. Brinlee was adorable and got so many goodies! She loved her cake and dug right in. Thanks Clint, Jennifer, Brody, and Brinlee for letting us share in Brinlee's special day!
Loving on Momma!

I made the decision to..........
Sell Scentsy!
I work with a gentlemen who has talked about the major success of his daughters and wife with selling Scentsy. One of his daughters is a Super Star Director and will hit her million dollar mark this year! Wow! He has been hinting to me that I should be doing this since November and I finally made the decision to start. I love candles and smelly good things so this is a perfect product for me. I use Scentsy all over in my home and feel so good about selling this product. I have been approached by so many direct sells pitches and this one truly fits me. So if you do not have a rep, please visit my website http://livingsimple.scentsy.us/.

Some of my favorite things.......
So I read a few weeks ago a couple of posts from Stephanie and Ashley about their favorite things! I love posts like this so I have decided to post something similar. Thanks girls for the idea!

I must have product on my lips at all times and one of my favorites is the tinted Burt's lip balm.
When Jason and I moved back from Houston, we both desired to get back to the gym but we never made it a priority until about two months ago. I cannot tell you how great we feel now that we are working out again. Our cloths are fitting a little looser and I have most of my energy back. After having Avery and going through such horrible headaches, which I still have occasionally, I was stuck in a rut and I never thought I would start feeling like myself again. I had such a misconception about child birth: "You have a great pregnancy, a healthy birth, then lay low for about a week, and then you will back to normal and life will be grand." Little did I know I would only get two of those; a great pregnancy and a life with Avery that is grander than anything else. I am so glad to get this part of my life back and feel so much better!

I LOVE Noxzema! I have used this stuff forever and I love the tingling sensation on my face after using it. I wash my face twice a day with it and it treats my skin so good!

All I drink is water and it is a must have.
I must have product on my lips at all times and one of my favorites is the tinted Burt's lip balm. A few more things.........I love being outside, I love to clean and work in the yard, I love rocking my baby to sleep, I love the way Avery smells in the morning when I get her up, I love everything about her, I love my husband more than words could say (And his smell; I have a thing with smells, they trigger so many memories for me), I love the history we have together, I love the smell of a match being blown out and the inital smell of turning the AC on in the car (I know those are weird), I love the feeling of the sun beaming down on me while sitting on the porch, and I love my Faith in the Lord. My Faith has given me such strength and reassurance in myself. I love knowing that Avery and our future children will be raised in a Christian home and I love my family!
It feels good to write this post because the last couple of months I found myself in such a good place. Happy and contentment would describe it. I have reminensced on the past year many times here lately both with all the changes and the major changes in Avery. Looking at her pictures and remembering how small she was compared to now takes me to a bitter sweet place. We have been planing her 1st Birthday party and all I can think about is cupcakes and pink and brown. Her party theme has been decided on since she was two months old. I know I jumped ahead a little bit, but if you know anything about me it is that I plan far in advance! A bit OCD maybe.....my dad would not be allowed to comment here; nor my husband. :) Anyway the past year has been very busy and a bit stressful and Jason and I both feel like we are finally to a good place with a lot of things. Life can get stressful and it can take a toll. Jason and I are truely a team and I feel like the past year has shown us that we can weather just about any storm.
